Giving a new meaning to pop culture
THE world’s fastest growing premium beer is here and a select group of Malaysians were introduced to it during its recent launch at the Mardi Gras Bistro and Cafe in 1 Utama shopping centre, Petaling Jaya.
Tuborg has taken the world by storm and during its launch party, it brought a new meaning to “pop” culture with performances by rocking Australian group The Next Step, our very own talented GBC boys, DJ Maverick and DJ Ken.
And, while the action was taking place on stage, guests had fun pulling at the signature “Pull Cap” that produces a sound when a new bottle is opened.
Carlsberg Malaysia general manager for marketing and Tuborg expert Ole S. Nielsen, who launched the new beer, said he expected the introduction of Tuborg’s signature pull cap and distinct taste to position the brew well in the local market. The beer is targeted mainly at the younger and urban Malaysians.
As one of the fastest growing beers in the world, Tuborg is set to offer new customer experiences in the way beer is savoured and enjoyed,” added Nielsen.
He said Tuborg had been part of some of the biggest concerts around the world and it was now ready to unleash itself and be a part of a new phenomenon in Malaysia.
With fun and music as our main platform and one of Tuborg’s key brand drivers around the world, the beer is taking fun to a new level by going interactive so beer lovers can experience the party atmosphere even with the click of the mouse,” added Nielsen.
The beer is available at selected restaurants, bars and cafes and entertainment outlets throughout the country. It will be on the shelves in supermarkets, hypermarkets and convenience stores by the end of the year.
